The Change Man - Leading human-centered transformation

Founder of The Change Maker Group

Purpose Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist 2024

Building a Global Community of Change Makers

Simon Phillips didn't set out to become "The Change Man." But after 20 years of watching brilliant leaders struggle with transformation - not because they lacked strategy, but because they lacked the human connection that makes change stick - he knew something had to change.

In 2013, Simon had a dream of being surrounded by thousands of change makers. Individuals with the heart to want to support others through the challenges of change. Two years later, The Change Maker Group was formed.

Today, Simon is recognised as the UK's leading expert in love- based leadership & change capability building. His mission? To develop a global community of change makers making a positive impact in their worlds.

The Journey

After being recruited into the fledgeling "Change Management" practice by Andersen Consulting in 1992, Simon led several innovative projects; including one of the first multi-media online training programmes, a nationwide training programme for a high street bank and a culture change programme with a power company in South Africa. He was on the fast-track to partnership when a life-threatening car crash led to a reassessment of life's priorities.

He started his first change practice in 2000, published his first book in 2003 and has been at the forefront of human-centric business thinking ever since. Today his talks, webinars, podcasts, videos, books, networks and clients span the globe.
